Making Homemade Liqueurs

Cranberry Liqueur

4 cups cranberries, coarsely chopped
3 cups sugar
2 cups light rum

Combine cranberries, sugar and rum in a large jar. Cover tightly and let steep in a cool, dark place for 6 weeks. Shake jar daily. hen steeping period is complete, strain and filter the liquid

Pour into bottles. Cap tightly and let age at least 1 month before serving.
